How It All Started

The Cologne Zone was born from a lifelong love of fragrance. At just 13, Lei was already hooked, dragging his dad from shop to shop to sniff, sample, and hunt down the next great scent. Before long, his dad was just as obsessed, and his older brother, Gav, was sneaking sprays from Lei’s growing collection whenever he got the chance.

From Family Hobby to Fragrance Mission

Fast forward 15 years and Lei now shares his fragrance reviews online, creating content for The Cologne Zone. Gav, who never stopped loving a good scent, kept nudging Lei to review Creed Aventus, a fragrance he’d fallen for years ago after one test spray in a store.

Family life (and a few wallet-draining kids) in the mix, mean’t dropping a small fortune on a full bottle wasn’t exactly practical for Gavyn. That’s when the lightbulb went off, Why not create a way for people to try the world’s top fragrances and their best affordable clones, before making a big investment?
